Bruce Tolman vigorously transforms his meditative moods into abstract, vibrant and brilliantly colorful images inviting the spectator into contemplative journeys. His series 'Ponds' represent moments and segments in the life of a small intimate body of water, which has always been a very strong influence in his life and art, a powerful energy source. What inspired the 'Ponds' series is the idea of an intimate body of water as related to his own body of experience. Each painting represents a particular mood a unique feeling.
